Move Plane

To access this screen:

• View ribbon >> Sections >> Move.

• Using the command line, enter "move-plane".

• Use the quick key combination "mpl".

• Display the Find Command screen, locate move-plane and click Run.

Use the Move Plane screen to shift the current view plane either forward or backward, maintaining any clipping limits already specified.

Enter the Distance to Move Plane (in metric or imperial units, depending on your global options) to move the current view plane.

You can enter a positive value to move the view plane forwards along the line of view, or backwards with a negative value.
